—DESCRIPTION—

The hydraulic damper makes lowering the heavy tailgate easier. When opening the tailgate, the damper absorbs the downward force, allowing it to glide down slowly rather than dropping quickly.

Enables convenient hands-free lowering by preventing the tailgate from slamming down. Provides increased safety by helping to protect against careless operation and avoiding damage to the hinges.

Ford recommends that you use a qualified technician to fit parts. Damage owing to incorrect fitment is not covered under warranty.
