This item has been graded per TCA standards C-9: Factory New based on visual appearance. Introduced as a relative ‘Late-comer” to the industry the 2-8-0 would quickly rise to popularity as a freight hauler in the late 19th and early 20th century with its use spanning from the US to Europe. Hailed for its versatility during its run, the 2-8-0 would serve as a heavy freight hauler for various rail-way before eventually seeing its use wind down starting in 1915. With a handful now in museums, there is still one model still operating in Pennsylvania today! This item displays minimal signs of usage or wear across the body, underframe, and wheels.
