Here is a Lionel 182 O Vintage Operating Gantry Crane with Electromagnet from 1946-49. Gantry Cranes are one of Lionels greatest accessories. You can rotate the cab right or left, raise and lower the hook, and turn the electromagnet on and off all by remote control. When you turn on the electromagnet you can pick up small steel items and load and unload them, like from your scrap yard and into waiting gondolas. When the electromagnet is on there is also a red light in the cab that illuminates as well. It measures approximately 10″ inches in height, 6″ inches in width, and 7″ inches in length.
