This is a Lionel 455 Vintage O Operating Oil Derrick and Pumper from 1950-54. It stands approximately 14.5″ inches tall. When you power this up the walking beam starts moving up and down simulating pumping oil from under your layout. There is also a glass tube with a brown liquid that bubbles simulating the oil coming up. It is a real Lionel classic and a favorite of many layouts.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. Various sections of the structure show paint loss and rusting. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. One of the ladders are loose. The oil barrels are missing. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Overall condition is Very Good.
