This is a Lionel 6-9742 O Gauge Minneapolis and St. Louis Boxcar from 1973. This boxcar features a sliding doors, plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. This was a special non-cataloged “Coupon” car that could be ordered from Lionel by cutting coupons that were printed on the sides of other MPC cars.
