Here is a Lionel 470 Vintage O Operating Missile Launching Platform W /Car 1945-69. The rocket can be launched at the touch of a button. The launcher mechanism is the same one used on the 6650 IRBM Missile Flatcar. It includes the 6470 exploding boxcar. The platform features detailed plastic construction, and the car features detailed plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are nicks, scratches, and light spots of rust present on the platform and car. Car shows some heavier scratches and abrasions from previous use, as it comes apart when the missile shoots it. Missile included is original. Light dust has collected, so the overall appearance of these items may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. These items have not been tested and are being sold As-Is.
