This is a Lionel 665 Vintage O 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive from 1954-66. A tender is not included. Features include a die-cast boiler shell, an open frame motor, magnetraction, a 3-position reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, a decorative bell, metal side rods, and metal wheels and axles. This engine was used in several O Gauge sets in the 1950s and 60s.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis.
