This is an HO Scale Marklin 24712 Right Hand Wide Radius Turnout Track Section from 2000-06 and a HO Scale Marklin 24711 Left Hand Wide Radius Turnout Track Section from 2000-06. Measures 236.1 mm / 9-5/16 inches, the branch track radius is 1,114.6 mm / 43-7/8 inches, the turnout curve is 12.1 degrees and a 10 degree metal frog. There are 2 sections of 24701 track required at the ends of the turnout, suitable roadbed slope piece included. A manual hand lever is included and can be retrofitted with 74490 electric turnout motor, 74470 turnout lantern, and 74460 turnout decoder. Marklin C track is world famous for its stability, realism, safety, durability, and quick setup. Just click and youre finished, with no breakable plastic parts on the ends of the tracks! Marklin track uses the technique of using a third rail concealed in the roadbed with only small studs protruding through the ties of the track to provide simplified wiring. The two outer rails are connected electrically. Please note that Marklin track is not compatible with Atlas, Bachmann, or other 2-rail HO scale track.
