This is a MTH 80-2283-1 HO Scale Missouri Pacific Alco PA-PA Set with Proto-Sound 3.0 & DCC (blue, white). The PA was Alco’s glamour girl. It was widely regarded as the most beautiful first-generation diesel – period. The 294 PA’s and cabless PB’s built between 1946 and 1953 powered some of America’s most famous name trains, from the Southern Pacific’s Daylight to the Pennsylvania’s Broadway Limited. Features include intricately detailed ABS body, authentic paint scheme and numbers, die cast metal chassis, directionally controlled headlights, RP-25 metal wheels on metal axles, 5-pole skew-wound motor and Kadee-compatible magnetic knuckle couplers for each unit. Comes equipped with onboard DCC receiver and Proto-Sound 3.0.
