The 226E was one of Lionel’s top of the line engines in the late Prewar era and many of the tools used to make the 226 were used as the starting point for the Postwar Era 726/736 Berkshires. This powered steam locomotive features a powerful motor, reverse unit, lights, full die-cast construction, and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item displays scratches and paint imperfections across the body and underframe. Spots of surface rust can be seen on the wheels, axles, and other parts of the underframe. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
