This is one of the best operating of the Military/Space cars that Lionel produced throughout the sixties. You wind up the spring loaded launcher mechanism on the car and then set the satellite on it, and manually pull the launch lever and into space it goes! This is the manually launched version, so it will not work remotely with operating track sections like the 3519 car does. Typically these will actually launch 10 to 15 feet in the air if you wind it tight enough. This car in red was made one year only in 1961 and is much harder to find than the common 3519.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This item appears to have been run sparingly, and displays overall signs of light previous use. There are some scratches, nicks and imperfections on the paint consistent with age and use. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
