Here is a Lionel 98 Elevated Coal Storage House from the late 1930’s. It is similar to the 97 but does not have the conveyor mechanism. With the touch of a button you can remotely open the lower chute to load coal into an awaiting hopper. It is actually quite a hard piece to find. It stands approximately 12 inches tall.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on this item. A few longer scratches in the paint are visible on the sides of the building. Remote controller is included. This item is being sold As-Is. The original box is included shows heavy signs of rips, tears, creasing, and brittle edges. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Very Good.
