This is a Rivarossi 1528-1 HO Union Pacific 4-8-4 FEF Steam Locomotive and Tender #8444. Features include plastic body construction, plastic trucks, accurate paint schemes, plastic designing, a motor in the locomotive, and metal wheels and axles.

First introduced in the early 20th century, the 4-8-4 to rail yards by storm primarily hauling coal and other forms of freight across state lines in the US and rail-ways in various other countries. While later models would improve on the 4-8-4’s limitation, this locomotive still made its place in history as a pioneer of 20th century rail-road industry, and is featured in some museums today as a testament to how far the industry has truly come!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of this item. A few small paint chips and scuff marks are visible on both items. Dust has collected, so the overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
