This is an MTH 30-1161-0 4-6-4 Chesapeake and Ohio Streamlined Hudson Steam Locomotive and Tender from 2000. Features include a precision flywheel equipped motor, all metal wheels and gears, a DCRU electronic reverse, a die-cast boiler and tender, an operating metal knuckle coupler, an operating protosmoke system, an operating headlight, and an electronic whistle [but no Protosounds].

This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world
