This is a Lionel 2037 Vintage O 2-6-4 Die-Cast Steam Locomotive w/ 2046W Tender from 1954-63. The 2037 was one of the smaller Lionel Postwar steam engines with smoke and magnetraction and was used in several sets in the 50s and early 60s. Features include die-cast metal construction, a die-cast boiler, a decorative bell, magnetraction, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight and a 3 position reverse unit, metal side rods, metal wheels and nice molded-in detail. The tender features plastic construction, die-cast trucks, one knuckle coupler and metal wheels & axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This locomotive is being sold as-is. The locomotive gets power but does not run. This locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. There are various spots of paint chipping. There are missing or broken trim pieces. This locomotive shows discoloration on the chassis and trucks. The lock-out lever is broken off. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
