This is a Lionel 265E Vintage O Prewar LL Commodore Vanderbilt Steam Locomotive w/Tender from 1935-40. The locomotive features all tinplate construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, a decorative smoke unit, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features all tinplate construction, a solenoid coupler, tinplate trucks with black journals, an operating whistle, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. This item displays scratches and paint imperfections across the body and underframe. Deep scratches have resulted in heavy paint loss across the locomotive and tender, with the exposed metal showing heavy surface rust. The undersides of each item also display surface rust across the wheels and axles. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included.
