Here is a Lionel 3830 Vintage O Flatcar with Operating U.S. Navy Submarine from 1960-63. Yes, the submarine actually will operate underwater! It is rubber band powered. You wind up the nose cone to energize it. This car features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. There are nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on this item. Additionally the surfaces of both the flatcar and submarine show signs of paint wear, chipping, and discoloration. Surface of the Submarine shows heavier spots of browning throughout the body.
