While it is technically motorized, none of the 3927s wheels are self-propelled and it must be pulled around the track by a locomotive. The motor powers the spinning sponge underneath the unit and the spring-loaded wipers on the rear clean off any remaining residue. Features include a plastic and metal construction, knuckle couplers and metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on this item. Body shows paint wear, chips, and scuff marks. Cleaning fluid bottles are original and show scuff marks and paint imperfections. Cleaning pad is missing as well as the rear pad is included in the center of the car. The wheels show signs of wear. When tested, the rotating cleaning piece functioned.
