This is a Lionel 6-12714 O/O27 Gauge Automatic Crossing Gate.
When activated the gate drops when train passes by. A 153C contactor is included to operate it with tubular track, or it also works with an insulated track section, or a FasTrack accessory activator track, which is sold separately. It measures 11 inches tall x 9 1/2 inches long.
