Here we have a Lionel 6-17459 O Gauge CP Rail PS-5 Gondola #338966. This gondola features die-cast metal sprung trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. These superb models are based on the utilitarian 52 inch 6 inch gondolas designed by the Pullman Standard Car Manufacturing Company. Each of these scale sized gondolas has a detailed interior walls and floor with operating corrugated drop ends. The underframe features separately applied brake rigging and air tanks. The realistic die-cast metal operating couplers work smoothly magnetically and manually without a hanging trigger disc for a more prototypical appearance. The PS-5 gondola is available in four new road names.
