This is a Lionel 2494 Rotary Beacon Tower from 1972-74. The revolving light on top detailed tower projects red and green beacons, just like a real airport beacon. The tower structure is steel and measures 11 1/2 inches tall x 5 inches x 5 inches. Not a particularly sought-after piece by collectors but is somewhat tough to find.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. This beacon tower has rust spotting some of the metal surfaces. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of this item. There is existing wiring attached from a previous owner. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. The previous owner has placed stickers on this item’s packaging. Overall condition is Good.
