Here is a Lionel 6-8101 O Gauge Chicago & Alton 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive & Tender #659. This engine headed up the Alton Limited Red Train set from that year. Its features include a die-cast boiler, an open frame motor, Magnetraction, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight, electronic whistle and Sound of Steam, and a great paint scheme.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!
