This is a Lionel 6-9117 O Gauge Alaska Covered Quad Hopper from 1975-76. This car was part of the 1974 Rio Grande Service Station Special Set, and was later available separately as well. This car features 12 roof hatches that raise and lower, plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The wheels show signs of wear. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of this item. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. One of the top hatch covers is missing. The original box is included.
