This is a Lionel 671 Vintage O 6-8-6 Die-Cast Steam Turbine Locomotive w/671W Tender from 1946-49. This classic features die-cast metal construction, a worm drive motor, an operating smoke unit, an operating headlight, a 3 position forward-neutral-reverse E-unit, metal side rods and metal wheels. The 671 was a mainstay of Lionels line in the late 1940s.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on these items. Additionally, bodies of both items show paint wear, chips, and abrasions throughout their surfaces. Red decal is missing from boiler front. The overall appearance of these items may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The wheels show signs of wear. When tested, loco runs well. Tender whistle tries, but does not make sound.
