This is a Lionel 6736 Detroit & Mackinac 4-Bay Hopper from 1960-62. The 6736 Detroit & Mackinac hopper was a typical open quad hopper as produced by Lionel in the early 1960s. It’s three year run and inclusion in many set as well as being available for separate sale has made this a fairly easy hopper to find. Collector quality examples are more difficult to locate as most appears in beginner or starter sets and frequently appear in well used condition. This hopper features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on this item. The wheels show signs of wear.
