This is a Lionel 817 Tinplate Lionel Lines Prewar Caboose from 1926-42. The 817 was a mainstay of Lionels large O Gauge 800-series throughout the late 1920s and 1930s. Features include all tinplate construction, tinplate trucks with journals, latch couplers, metal wheels and axles. It is not lighted.
