The Tower was originally sold by Lionel in the prewar era. It was re-introduced in 1946 and was sold for five years (through 1950). The all-metal Water Tower is painted and is approximately 8 1/2 inches high. The base is red and measures approximately 3 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches square. The spout is black and is the only moving part on this accessory. There is a decal on the tank with LIONEL TRAINS in red.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on this item. The water spout is partially broken. Stickers have been applied to the back of the tank by the previous owner spelling the words “Galion City”. The original box is not included. Overall condition is Good.
