The work caboose features black, “Delaware, Lackawanna, and Western” heat stamped lettering, a die cast frame with molded plastic toolboxes and cab, staple end trucks, and a die cast smokestack. The dump car features black-painted aluminum with white heat stamped lettering, and bar end trucks. The solenoid mechanism dumps the coal load when activated by remote. Both cars feature coil couplers and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The dump car’s load and switch are not included. There is a chip along the work caboose’s toolbox. Both bodies are marked and scratched with slightly faded lettering. The dump car tested nonfunctional. The instruction manual is not included.
