This is a MicroTrains 10800372 N Scale Burlington Northern Santa Fe 100-Ton 3-Bay Open Hopper with Rib Sides and Coal Load #615587. This 100-Ton 3-bay open hopper with rib sides are brown with white lettering and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built by Frisco from a Bethlehem Steel kit in1978, these cars were transferred to Burlington Northern shortly after. After the merger they were renumbered into series 615521-615998. In total, BNSF inherited nearly 9,000 open hoppers during the mid-1990s.
