Here is an MTH Premier 20-3059-1 O New York Central 4-6-4 J-1e PT Hudson Steam Engine. This is a model of the later J-1 Hudsons after their mid-1940s rebuilding when they received the Type PT, or centipede tenders with 14 wheels. It features a die-cast boiler and tender body, constant voltage headlight, die-cast truck sides, Pittman flywheel equipped motor, remote controlled Proto-Coupler, metal handrails and decorative bell, operating firebox glow, operating marker lights, operating tender back-up light, and Proto-Sounds.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of this item. The wheels show signs of wear. Several trim pieces are detached from the sides of the locomotive’s boiler, but are included for reattachment. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
